It was second to the last of December, a favorable time for trekking and a mean of starting the new year with enthusiasm. We planned a two days trip for Trekking of Kalinchowk to Sukute Beach. We have heard a lot about those places and then we decided to experience them. Kalinchowk wraps up the tremendous panoramic view of Himalayas, a holy expedition of Hindus (Kalinchowk Bhagwati) as well as for Buddhist, marvelous cultures, diverseness, and lifestyles. In like manner, Sukute Beach is a glorious destination of winter to take sunbathing on the beaches of Bhote Koshi River overlooking white water. To ginger up with nature, we decided to cheer up all our staff on the Rigorous Web and planned one of our major events organizing by Rigorous Web Social Club on the delightful occasion of New Year 2019 eve.

Itinerary

Day 1

• Drive from Kathmandu to Charikot ( Approx 6 hrs. )
• Drive from Charikot to Kuri ( approx 2 hrs. )
• Night stay at Kuri Resort.

Day 2

• Walk / Cable Car to Kalinchowk Peak and back to Kuri
• Drive toward Charikot
• Visit Dolakha Bhimsen Temple
• Move to Bhotekoshi Sukute beach Resort
• New Year Eve celebration at Sukute beach Resort

Day 3

• Move from Sukute Beach to Kathmandu

Summary

That day, in the early morning,  all of our members gathered onto the office premises. Yeah, it’s about to be 7:00 AM! Around after 1 hour, we were heading towards our journey with the splendidly satisfied nip of tea and cookies.

Our first destined place was Kalinchowk. It is one of the VDC that lies in the Dolakha District, in North-Eastern of Nepal, approx 132 km from Kathmandu. Steadily the bus went up to the hill and succeeding 8 hours of travel, we reached Charikot at 4 PM. Our plan was to get into Kuri village that evening.

Well, as our plan we were directed towards the Kuri resort and reach before 6 PM. Basically, it was winter and we were at the flank of Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, Shisha Pangma, Dorje Lakpa, Jugal Himal, Gauri Shankar Himal. We garner the best moment of playing with the snow. We spent our night really well in between proximity of nature. And, it’s obvious that we were extremely eager to enjoy the clear view of Kathmandu valley with chirping sounds of birds and the golden smile of Himalayas.

That moment, Whoa! We felt the real heaven. We also had a wonderful opening of 2018 within a trip through Ghandruk to Pokhara and we had a plan to throwback to the whole year and move forward to 2019 on a charming and wonderful home of beauty, Sukute Beach. This awesome place is carried out by Bhote River valley of Sindhupalchowk District lies on the Midway to Kodari from Kathmandu, 3 driving hours, or 69 km away from Kathmandu.

Along with the first appearance of daylight, we began our hike to Kalinchok’s peak. Two of our friends relish the highest view through the cable car. It was really an overwhelming experience while standing up to the summit of Kalinchowk but we had to get back. After back to Kuri, we moved into Dolakha Bhimsen Temple and then had breakfast.

Afterward, the team moved towards Sukute Beach, “Bhotekoshi”. It was New year’s eve and we stayed at the beach to celebrate. We didn’t let out every single moment and happiness of that incredible place till late at night. The next morning, we all woke up late and then got some refreshments, played volleyball, table tennis, carom board, and more. After breakfast, we moved towards our way to KTM with glaring moments. 

With many bitter and sweet experiences, support, and great teamwork of all members, generosity of our clients toward our services, suggestion, and the help of well-wishers, we are having a good beginning and goodbye to each year of our journey. We, the whole team are heartily thankful to all related and respected ones. The reason behind the success of our company is based on the efforts of our employees.
